THE APOSTLES WERE VEGETARIANS
To know the Jesus's teachings about the subject of love to animals and nutrition without meat, it is useful to know how his apostles and disciples kept to it. Some old texts, which in a significative manner were not embraced in the Bible's cannon, tells us what follows thereon:
PETER
“I live from bread and olives, which I sometimes add some vegetable to”.

“Jesus commanded me neither to eat any meat, nor to drink any wine, but only bread, water and fruits, in order that I find myself pure whenever he wants to talk with me“.

"Matthew lives from grains, trees' fruit and vegetables, without meat”.

Genesis 1:29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
Genesis 1:30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day. We didn't even have to work for food... Eating meat was permitted after the flood for lack of vegetables and trees... due to such a clean up which had to be carried out on the planet...
